Dubai is located on the coastline of the Arabian Gulf. Gentle warm waves meet its golden sandy beaches, punctuated by ultramodern high-rise hotels and apartments. It’s sunny all year round, creating all the best requirements for supreme rest or play. All kinds of water sports are on offer and the region boasts an array world class golf courses. Metro train and affordable taxi services make it simple to get to around Dubai.

Most hotels are 5 star and above with a multitude or restaurants offering a wide variety of world cuisines. There are some of the world’s largest malls to visit. Many travelers including Shikideals staff use Dubai as stopover break for a day or two, and simply laze along its beautiful beaches to recharge the battery before heading back home. Its particularly nice if you have recently been somewhere in Europe while its winter, a chance to thaw out and slow down the engine before returning home.

It is recommend to visit Dubai between October and March, it can get pretty hot outside that period. Definitely avoid June to August, your shoes might just melt on a hot outdoor surface if you are not careful. Also check on Ramadan dates as most facilities close, and please remember it’s illegal to drink alcohol in outdoor/public areas.
